Appearance
The plant has large, funnel-shaped flowers that can grow up to 28 cm long. The flowers are pearly white and bloom at night, wilting before dawn.
Growth
The plant can be grown indoors or outdoors and attracts pollinators. Buds appear on the plant and take about a month to grow into flowers that stay on the plant for 3-4 days.
Care
The plant should be watered only after the soil dries completely and placed indoors in medium to good indirect light with good air circulation. A suitable soil media for the plant is 30% potting soil, 30% sand, 10% cocopit, 20% organic manure or vermicompost, 5% charcoal chips, and 5% perlite.
